1. Data We Collect

Account data: Username, email, hashed password (bcrypt). Usage data: Reading history, favorites, comments, forum posts. Analytics: Anonymized page views via Google Analytics. Newsletter: Email address with explicit consent.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide the service (articles, favorites, forum), send newsletters you opted into, moderate content for safety, and improve the site through analytics. We never sell your personal data.

3. AI Content Moderation

Forum posts and comments are reviewed by AI (Claude by Anthropic) for safety. Moderated content is not deleted — you can appeal any decision, and a human admin will review it. We check for: spam, hate speech, harmful medical misinformation, illegal content, and CSAM. The forum is text-only — no image or file uploads are permitted.

4. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Right to access: Request a full export of your data. Right to deletion: Request permanent deletion of your account and all data. Right to rectification: Contact us to correct inaccurate data. Right to withdraw consent: Unsubscribe from newsletters at any time. Right to portability: Download your data in a standard format.

Exercise these rights from your Profile page or email privacy@healthtolongevity.com. We respond within 30 days.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies (essential, for login) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, with consent). You can decline non-essential cookies via the banner.

6. CSAM & Illegal Content Policy

We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), exploitation of minors, or any illegal content. Our systems automatically detect and block such content. Violations are reported to NCMEC and law enforcement. The forum prohibits all image/file uploads.

7. Data Retention

Account data: retained until you request deletion. Reading history: 1 year. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Forum posts: retained for community value; attributed to "deleted user" upon account deletion.

9. Community Guidelines

Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, spam, or medical claims without evidence. No sharing of controlled substance information. No personally identifiable health information of others. Violations result in content hiding with an appeal process. Repeat violators may be banned.
