This systematic review and meta-analysis examined the effects of mind-body exercises, such as Tai Chi and Yoga, on cognitive function and neuroplasticity in elderly individuals with mild cognitive impairment. The findings suggest that mind-body exercises may have a positive impact on cognitive abilities and neuroplasticity in this population, though the extent of the benefits remains uncertain. The review highlights the potential of these exercises as a non-pharmacological intervention for maintaining cognitive health in older adults with mild cognitive impairment.
