Conducted across 52 breast cancer centers in Germany between May 2021 and February 2024, this multicenter trial enrolled women aged 18 and older with metastatic breast cancer receiving systemic therapy. Participants in the intervention arm completed weekly symptom questionnaires via smartphone using validated adaptive short forms derived from the EORTC computerized adaptive testing item bank.
